Nikkei adds 0.6 percent
Japan's Nikkei index traded in sight of
20,000 points after closing down 0.4 percent in the previous session.
Heavyweight exporter stocks such as Honda Motor, Nissan and Nintendo
rallied more than 1 percent each.
