Japan's Nikkei added 1.9 percent, on top
of Tuesday's 2.6 percent advance.
Australian stocks climbed 1.6 percent,
while South Korea put on 0.8 percent. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific
shares outside Japan .
MIAPJ0000PUS firmed 0.6 percent.
On Wall Street, the Dow ended Wednesday with gains of 1.28 percent,
while the S&P 500 rose 1.45 percent and the Nasdaq 1.52 percent.
