ASX trades up after four-day break
The Australian ASX 200 index rose 24
points, or 0.47 percent, at 5,232 in morning trade, after returning from a
four-day break. The market was closed Friday and Monday.
The materials sectors saw an early loss of near 1 percent. Two of
Australia's biggest miners, Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton, saw losses of 2.72 and
