US MARKET NEWS 25 FEBRUARY 2016

The S&P financial sector, already the worst performing sector this year, fell 0.2 percent, with shares of Wells Fargo down 1.02 percent. JPMorgan ended flat after it flagged declining investment banking revenue and raised its provisions for energy loan losses.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 0.32 percent to end at 16,484.99 points and the S&P 500 gained 0.44 percent to 1,929.8. The Nasdaq Composite added 0.87 percent to 4,542.61.

Facebook rose 1.34 percent and Apple added 1.49 percent. Concerns about slowing iPhone sales had pushed Apple's stock down 19 percent in the past three months.
