MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific
shares outside Japan lost 0.2 percent.
Japan's Nikkei fell 1 percent to hit a
1-month low and Australian shares dropped 0.8 percent.
South Korea's Kospi dipped 0.2 percent. Risk asset markets continued to
take cues from crude oil, which cooled investor sentiment by resuming its
decline on a build in stocks of distillates such as fuel oil and diesel. Brent
crude LCOc1 fetched $40.33 a barrel, within reach of a 7-year low of $39.57
struck on Wednesday.
